Your chakras are spinning energy centers and to function properly they need routine maintenance. A great way to keep them functioning properly is through regular sessions with an energy healing practitioner. There are considered to be 7 main chakras that form a line from your head to your lower torso aligning with the spine.

Each one is shown below along with some basic information.

When the chakras are functioning properly the energy is in balance and in harmony. When malfunctions occur, it can lead to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual disturbances. Thus the importance of chakra energy maintenance.

During an energy healing session, the chakras can be returned to their properly functioning state. This may consist of the opening, cleansing, and/or balancing of one or all of your chakras. Note: healing can be received however part or all can be rejected consciously or subconsciously. Also note that, in my opinion, having sessions is important for practitioners.

It has been my experience that having a session with another practitioner allows you to fully drift into a state of relaxation that may not be achieved during your own maintenance routine. Here are two chakra cleansing methods that can be used between energy healing sessions… White Light Chakra Cleanse & Crystals for Chakras.

1. Visualize white light entering your body through the top of head down to your lower abdomen through your spine
2. See the white light enter your root chakra then watch the light expand cleansing it
3. Repeat step 2 for each of the remaining chakras: sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown.
4. After your crown chakra is cleansed, visualize the white light moving upward and disappearing above your head.
5. Ask for the light used to cleanse your chakras to be transmuted and give thanks.

Chakra Malfunction

When malfunctions occur, it cam lead to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual disturbances. These disturbances create health & wellness issues. Have you heard of a blown chakra? This occurs when a chakra has been damaged by drugs, unwise psychic practices or meditating for too long. Although the chakra remains open, it is unable to function properly. Each chakra spins and when the direction of the spin is wrong a correction needs to be made.
