This article explores another energy component… your birth name. The name that you were given at birth was not a matter of chance or by accident. It is an energetic matter like your birthdate which was explored in a previous article (link).
Your birth name provides insight through numerology into traits and characteristics beneficial to knowing yourself thus gaining a better understanding of yourself. In order to calculate your birth name, the following chart called a Pythagorean chart is necessary.

To calculate your birth name, the chart is used to determine the numeric value of each letter in your FULL name then those values are added together until being reduced to a single digit. The following is an example for the name, Scott Henry White:

8+5+5+9+7= 34
5+8+9+2+5= 29

7+7= 14
1+4= 5
Simplified Sum
1+4= 5
3+4= 7

5+7+11= 23
2+3= 5
Whether or not you simplify the sums, the end result is the same as you can see by the number 5. However, looking at the example, would you have noticed the master number if the simplification of the sum of the last name had not been done? As explained in the first energy component article (link), I do not reduce Master numbers to single digits in my calculations as with the number 11 above. In the example, it has been calculated that Scott’s birth name number is a 5 so what does it mean?
