Separate not Divided

Separate not divided is a basic concept, is it not? So basic that you would think that it would be known, understood and applied in every day life. What are your thoughts? Do you think that the conscious awareness of such a concept has diminished? Do you think that it is being taught today? Do you think that it is being practiced today? Do you think that this concept still applies in today’s world? These are all good questions. However, I think that the answers may not be.

It seems as though the premise of this concept has been hijacked. There is a lot that separates us. We are different in many ways. This is what makes each of us who we are… makes you, you and me, me. In the same breath, there is a lot that is the same or similar. Is this not the “glue” that allows us to be separate not divided?

With that being said, there are those seeking to create and deepen divides within the masses. Not only in the United States but around the world. They have twisted the focus from the similarities to the differences with the intention to divide. In doing so, this aids their efforts of exploiting others for their own gain/agenda. Unfortunately, as can be seen throughout the news and social media it is happening in many areas of life.

There is a lot of negativity being unleashed in the world from a variety of sources. Negative emotions are running high. This can be a “perfect storm” for creating and deepening divisions. How so?

Those seeking divides, prey on the emotions of others. This is one reason that your emotional state and your control of it is important. Those without emotional control are targeted to be exploited and controlled. “Buttons will be pushed” by the divisional manipulators until their desired reaction, result or outcome is achieved. This is a matter of those without emotional self control being more apt to react from an emotional state rather than respond from a calm state. As you know, there is a clarity issue between the two.

How can this be altered? To alter this, it will take living representation of the concept. Where the focus is, is where the energy goes. Let’s move the focus back and teach that being separate is not divisive. One of the best ways to teach anything is by example… by positive example. When you are a positive example, others will observe it. When you are a positive example, others will energetically sense it. Through awareness, they will want to do the same.

We are separate in ways. We are similar in ways. We are not divided.
